Half the Pressure Twice the Speed

“Half the Pressure, Twice the Speed" is a video sculpture installed at 74 Kent in Greenpoint Brooklyn, the former site of the Eberhard Faber Pencil Company. The piece features the silhouettes of people crafting, packaging and shipping pencils in the facade of the building. The saying “Half the Pressure, Twice the Speed” was actually imprinted on Eberhard Faber pencils themselves, and can be seen as a metaphor for a simpler time.
